Madonna. Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2009 Ad Campaign.

When I heard on the radio this afternooon that Madonna is going to be Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2009 spokesperson, I was so thrilled!! I needed to see this with my own eyes to believe it. I looove this brand especially their dresses....and I got my first from Paris. When I got back to London, I put my name as the don't-know-few-hundreth-person for a dress I saw from their latest catalogue....and yeah....it did not reach my turn since they only got 2 dresses in and only 1 that is my size. Ish....disappointing........Anyways, back to my title......

As we all know, Louis Vuitton is one of the oldest names in the fashion industry. In the beginning, it was only catered more to the well-traveled set but since designers like Marc Jacobs, Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami joined and collaborated, LV now means all-out luxury with a major dose of fashion-forward chic. This time for the Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign, it was Marc Jacobs's idea to have Madonna, the Material Girl, as the spokesperson. It seems that Madonna has already shot a series of LV print promo with renowned photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.

According to Marc, the French's fashion house creative director,
“I wanted the campaign to be very bold, very sensual and very atmospheric. To carry off all these references and all this sophistication, we needed the ultimate performer and for me, that is Madonna.”

Madonna being 50 year-old is definitely a hot momma. The singer has been pictured sporting unsightly bulging veins as a result of her rigorous exercise regime. She is definitely not losing her sex appeal with age in those stunning ads for Louis Vuitton (much envy). Can you believe it?? She shows no sign of ageing and still has that flawless skin with toned-up figure. By the way, this is not the first time the mother of three has posed for an LV shoot.

This time round, Material Girl Madonna poses provocatively for the new ad campaign. Madonna transforms into Marc Jacobs' vision of the quintessential Parisienne, striking provocative poses in the season's sexy short skirts, ethnic-inspired sandals and animal-print bangles. The first visuals show Madonna with the collection's emblematic slouchy bags in Monogram canvas and Monogram-embossed leather. The Vogue singer is definitely recreating the look from the LV campaign. The shots have a Marlene Deitrich world-weary vamp type-of-vibe and it was all Marc Jacobs' brilliant idea for blurting out the cutting-edge concept. The ads were shot by fashion photographer Steve Meisel, who also shot Madonna's infamous "Sex" coffee table photo book.

Here are her gorgeous pictures and I'm in love with those bags.........
