Internship program.

Few days ago, I attended an interview session for one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Well, the interview was alright to me but my verbal aka english test was done badly. Hmmm straight to the point....they have this assessment scheme where it tests your basic english and math skills. Amazingly, I could finish the numerical one and did very well but the english....ish....no comments. Anyways, I did not get their internship placement but I am very very happy for my friend because she got it!!! Ish...good lar...save all the trouble...now I have to start scouting for firms again *faints*

Genting

Sorry...has been abandoning this blog for a long time and been lazy to edit pictures and post them up. Anyways, after all the nagging, I finally got 'the boyfriend' to send me the pic-cas.....

Well, right after out finals, we made a 2 days 1 night trip up to Genting for a get-together-time since it's the first time the 'Gang of 7' ever got a chance to have fun. So, up we went....Took the 8am bus from Melaka to Pudu and then to Genting. BUT....we were so unlucky, thinking that it was off-peak season and we were too smart to conclude that we were the only ones going to Genting, we didn't got our bus tickets to Genting early. More of like...we reach, we buy, we go. Not that lucky because we reached Pudu about 10-ish am and our next bus was at 1pm. Great!! We had so much time wasted.

So, up we went to Genting and the BEST DAMN THING happened. We had to wait more than 3 hours just to get into our cosy rooms. Yeah....when we got to our rooms, we were exhausted and it was time for dinner since we only had brunch and were starving. The whole day was wasted with sitting and waiting with our luggages. Same goes to the next day which means.....WE DID NOT PLAY ANYTHING AT ALL!! Except for UNO cards of course...I'll show you where we played our cards in the pictures below...

Hmmm....Louis is the cutest of them all because he's the youngest haahha....that was why that time I purposely baked cupcakes for him....'the boyfriend' said that his brother and him loved the cupcakes.....Was supposed to bake a super-humongous cupcake for Matt but I don't have the tray for it lar =S No worries....next time I will!!!

Am i determined?

Hmmm....just came back from uni not too long ago. Had CA lecture class and I attended Tax tutorial classes as well. Supposed to be back after 3pm but due to sudden-hardworking-attitude, I stayed for another hour of tax tutorial. Basically, I attended 2 hours of the same tutorials. The arguments and reasonings were different in both classes because students had to present their answers this week. So, out of random-ness and dont-know-what-ness, I voluntered to present next week's tutorial in class. Yeah....I didn't know what hit me in the head definitely. So, better get prepared.

CA lecturer as usual was talking very fast but I had to admit that he gives good lectures. Unlike some lazy lecturers that read from their slides (well,except for those theory papers =/), he can give us examples after examples, explanations after explanations, without even referring to the slides that we printed out. Hmmm.....amalgamation, absorption, acquiring and absorbing companies owning shares in each others' companies.....I got confused. What else?? Had to revise la. I don't want to lose out anymore since 'the boyfriend' is working very hard with his FYP and portfolio. Heeee....can't wait to attend his graduation. I want to see his artworks which honestly....I seldom get to see recently. I still remember when he used to have 'character design' class. He drew the characters while I thought of names for them. That was fun =)

MY CONFESSIONS

Well, the reason that I joined 2 tutorial classes today until 4pm because I wanted to get rid of the shopping-brain-thinking polluting my mind. I hate it that my mind keeps thinking about shopping. Sighs....So, I vowed that I must concentrate on my studies. Whenever I think about shopping, I will study my notes and textbooks. Hmmm....I think I will definitely get first class honours again with this consistent habit ROFL!! Why?? Because I think of shopping and styling all the time!! When I want to get that skirt or pants, my mind starts spinning; thinking about how to pair that outfit up. So ironic!
Not forgetting that I must thank 'the boyfriend' for willing to go beyond the lines to please me. I will always appreciate that. So, I promise you that I will not shop and concentrate on what is important. After I get the things that I want to buy, I will not shop until the next semester break. Best still if I cut down on buying more clothes. Maybe I should change my interest and start investing in books huh? Heeee....

YC didn't attend classes today. Wonder what is wrong with her. Hopefully, she's doing alright. Yesterday, I noticed her eyes were puffy and red. During class, she didn't concentrate as much as she used to....plus she kept sms-ing. Anyways, really hope that everything will go well for you. Don't be so moody in class anymore okie? Happy-go-lucky ma =D

Enough of blabbing now.....better go shower and take my dinner. I am extremely hungry and I need that extra fats in my body. Am extremely thin tsktsk =S

Simply Bored

I am here sitting in the computer lab with nothing to do.sighs....so just out of random-ness and lame-ness, I decided to post about it =S


AARRGGGHHH!!! I am soooo darn confused. I don't know whether I should take up forensic accounting. The lecturer is very efficient and her teachings are superb but most of my friends had already dropped the subject. I find it interesting but then again.....from an 'unheard' conversation with a friend, he told me that it will only be useful if you decide to specialized in this field. I have never thought of becoming one especially to go into an engagement and find out the suspects for committing the fraud and bring it up to court. =/ I'm not a litigation person and I hate to memorize law cases or anything similar. E-mailed the lecturer yesterday to get her advices but there was no reply. Went to her room after my class but she was not there. Now....waiting for the girls to finish their AIS tutorial class and watch them play squash for a little while before I continue to look for the lecturer at 1pm.

Lunch break

A looonnnggg day today. Corporate Accounting as usual was difficult because I forgotten most of the things I had learned in FRS. My lecturer, Mr. Ramaiyer, spoke so fast that my hands couldn't stopped writing down all the important points. Even Alice said she would need 2 hrs just to copy my notes HAH!! The girls went JJ today but I didn't follow though I would love to.....because I had made lunch 'appointment' with a very 'un-important' person LOL!! (don't get angry ya). Would love to go shopping with the girls because I never really gone shopping with them...well,plus that super-duper 'in-chim' person!!! (haha don't kill me ah you-know-who-you-are) =)

I had to wait (which felt like forever =S) for Miss Marilyn Leo because my class ended earlier than hers. Hmmmm....been so long since I last saw her. Do you know what was her first sentence when she saw me!???

"I thought you were taller!!!" *eyes oogling from top to bottom*

What la u Marilyn!!!! No hi no nothing but that was her first sentence. I literally felt like fainting. I know I'm short...only 5' 4" okay??? HMPH..........


Anyways, I brought the 'un-important' person to the 'big tree'. Well, she lives at Bukit Beruang aka Bear Hill but she didn't know that the place existed although she attended one tuition which was at a corner lot JUST RIGHT THERE!!! Hope you liked the noodles there. It's one of my personal favorite place to eat. Next time, you can recommend your friends there too LOL!!! We were there for about 2 hrs with me blabbing and blabbing non stop I think I almost bore her to her death. =/

I didn't talk non-stop and bore you right right??? HAHA.....I'm a very straight-forward person so, the things that I say does not mean that I mean every word of it...You know what I mean can dy lar....LOL!!!
Well, it was nice meeting you again after such a long time. Hmmm....we should do this some time la. Hope you had a great time too!! Owh....good luck for your dancing competition alright?? Don't forget to belanja me if you win...hmph...that way I would definitely pray that your group will win. See you around in college aye? A New Semester

I am extremely happy today WwwWWWeEEEeee~~~

It's the first day of my delta year in MMU. This semester is really heavy because all of the subjects require memorization which I am really bad in. Anyways, WaiLeng went to Tioman Island for her semester break and she got us souvenirs. Hmmm...although it is only an ordinary seashell keychain, it is definitely priceless.
I started mixing with this lovely group not too long ago. They are really nice. When one of them, Alice, went to Redang Island for her holidays, she got us souvenirs too. Hmmm....when I go for holidays next time, I would get them something too. It is really nice when your friends think of you even when they are on holidays. Too bad lar....I always go up KL to shop instead of going for holidays. Will definitely get them souvenirs on my next holiday, alright me love?? They treat me really nice. heeeeee so I am really happy to have found friends like them.

I heard that this semester is full of presentation which will contribute to our assignment marks. It is time to work hard again. After 3 long weeks of semester break, I am sooooo darn lazy. By the way, Kenneth said something which I really agree to...."Don't go shopping during holidays. Just stay at home so you won't spend any money." I totally agree with that. As long as you don't lay your eyes on clothes or shoes, you would not think of buying anything. (Kenneth is what I called the 'rose' among the 'thorns' =))
Tomorrow is another new day. AAARRrrrGGGHHHH!!!! Out of 5 days this semester, I have morning classes for 4 days!!! How bad is that!!?? Having the daily headache again.

Anyways, I made a deal with the boyfriend. Hmmmm....I do hope I can stick to that. Heeee.....must remind me once awhile okie?? You know I am forgetful sometimes right right??? =S
