Shoes, Shoes, Shoes. Bangsar.

Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts (not the fashion posts of course).....I went to the city for the junkyard sales and.....to collect my prize. Anushya from Shoes, Shoes, Shoes, texted me more than a month ago regarding my grand prize from their boutique. Yeapz...due to my uni's tight schedule and final exams, could only schedule the visit during my holidays. 

That Saturday was meant for me to look for some nice bargains at Showpink's junkyard and dresses from Bangsar boutiques but.....I ended up with nothing. Well, I kinda wanted this cute, floral dress from Mooie which was a re-stock but it was the last piece and it was torn. So much for the thin cotton material tsktsk.....Anyways, my day was not that bad as I was in full anticipation and excitement to go collect my winning prize from Shoes, Shoes, Shoes. 

Actually, the pair of heels is not the only prize I won. I also won a 4 days 3 nights stay in Phuket. Indigo Pearl Hotel is an award-winning-stylish-5-star distinctive design resort and I got the Pearl Bed Suite. Am very very very happy and excited about it. All thanks to Joyce the Fairy and the people from Tongue in Chic of course. Never in my lifetime would I have thought of winning it. 

The other 2 winners had already collected their prizes which include dresses from Nurita Harith, gift pack from Storybook Couture and shoes from Shoes, Shoes, Shoes. My holidays are yet to come as 'the boyfriend' and I are planning it and hoping everything will fit into our schedules snugly. Anyways, I've already collected my pair of heels from Shoes, Shoes, Shoes and....once again, I was head-over-heels-salive-drooling-causing-flood in their boutique. 

Owh well....what's a post without pictures right?? I'm just a typical girl =)

Think of......B and S in Gossip Girls or.....SJP in Sex and the City....Got the hint anot?? Aiyoh.......this pair lar......

Ooooh.....tips for girlies out there.... Gorgeous heels are killer heels. Never try to walk the whole Bangsar wearing this pair of killer heels though...hmmmm....it suits my clothings and I look pretty fashionable and chic *ehem*.....My legs literally-almost broke into 4 parts....but....gorgeous kan?? Like I said...I'm just a typical girl =)

Weekend. Junkyards.

Another weekend passed. Another new year in a week's time based on chinese calendars. Just like old traditions, it's the time to hunt for clothes with the theme - RED. Unlike any other weekends, last weekend was filled with junkyard sales by LahLah land, Showpink boutique, Absolute Bazaar and the ever-famous LapSap duo. Nice deals, nice bargains, nice clothes. I went to witness for myself the feel of "The Junkyard War". Getting stuck in traffic jams weren't so fun after all but.....it's all worth the effort as I got myself a pair of gorgeous-cost-a-bomb red heels, bags, and more dresses. Will post up as soon as I can but there aren't any pictures as I was busy in the battle-field.

Glasses On Us.

Great day today,learned couple of new stuff to tighten up the screws in my head and get ready for those darn dirty missiles. And yes again,missing you a lot here me love. Can't wait for that day to come.And once more i meant evytin 've said.Its 11 now and the Purple monkeys are comin at about an hours time to continue the war.Need to clean up few works today to maintain the pace or else we definitely not gonna meet the timeline we've fixed.2 more Purple monkeys are still at s'pore and will only be back by Mon i guess.Hah.Tapi takper,ape 'oleh buat,its ok,we can make it.oh yes.we can make it.
Masa berlalu cipat,sikarang tibalah mase untuk gambau randome lagi.We bought new glasses together when we were up few weeks back.Was so bored that day and we ended up cam whoring like some lala chai and lala mui.

Heart of Greed

Hmmmm....today is the 3rd day of my new week in uni. Well, assignment groups are sort of settled except for probably 2 more subjects. Hopefully I don't have to frus about finding groups. Since it is still the first week, I am still relaxing and taking my time to watch television before I am off to war. Finally!!! I finished my HongKong TVB drama series titled 'Heart of Greed'.
This series has 40 episodes and I started watching it since last week. Yeapz....it took me about 2 weeks to finish this up. To some it may be boring because you know how HK series might be....they could be quite cheesy at times but this one is different. I am typing this while listening to the song...By the way, I put it in marnjenn's player the 2 songs that had been playing in my mind. Whenever I listen to them, it reminds me of the series and the sadness and happiness.

'Heart of Greed' is a series on family, friendship and love. On family part, this guy has 4 children and 2 wives. When I watch this family of 9 members, I sometimes wished that I am the daughter. I love how the family bonds and believes and trusts each other. Even in the end, they still stick to each other and make sure that their family bond will never break even though their parents had passed away. I learned that no matter what happens, your family is the closest thing to you. This series also taught me how money can mould a person's behavior. How a person would do anything just to have a big amount of money....that is just human character I presume. A greedy person will never benefit anything at the end of the day.
This song "My Love Will Get You Home" reminds me of the relationship of a girl and 2 guys in this series. Boys will always be boys. She was cheated by the guy and he was her first love.....cheated by her best friend who went out with her boyfriend behind her back. I totally understand how she was feeling at that moment. Seeing her cry made me teary too. Besides that, she has this guardian angel beside her. This is the eldest son of that rich family. Actually, he secretly likes her but knowing that she likes that first love, he helped her unconditionally and was there for her when she was sad and happy. I used to have that guardian angel who watches over me in whatever I did. Without him, I wouldn't have got the experiences and learned from my mistakes.
Hmmm.....love relationship is very complicated not just in this series but also in real life. I found one part very sweet was when the girl learned how to play the song Vincent by Don McLean using saxophone to suprise her first love on his birthday. So now whenever I listen to Vincent (starry starry night), I would think of him and her. She was angry of him for 2 years plus because he cheated on her but during these 2 years he had been writing down his feelings and printed them out hoping one day she will be able to read them. He was there for her all the time hoping that she would forgive him. When she finally wanted to forgive him and sent an email to him, he got into an accident and died. The touching part was when he got out of the crashed car bleeding, he went back into the overturned car to look for his phone to call her. Since he couldn't find his mobile, he walked to a nearby phone booth to call her. Then, he died in the phone booth. Yeah...though it may sound cheesy to some people but when I was watching the series, I couldn't stop crying. I find the story very very touching, be it love, friends or family wise.
I don't know why but it was as though I understand how the girl was feeling. I could watch this series all over again. I find the story line very touching and meaningful to me. Hmmmm.....

Hahaha....enough of blabbing lar.....I was happy with the ending of that series and I found 2 songs that reminds me so much about the story. Better go off to bed now. Another new day tomorrow.


Missing you miamour.

The Incredible Hulk

Had such a tired day today. Heeee.....as promised by me love....

We went for a movie this evening. Was supposed to catch Kungfu Panda but there were only bad seats left. Imagine having to stare at the screen and ended up having a sore-neck after 2 hours.....so, we dropped that plan and watched Incredible Hulk. Liv Tyler looked stunning as always and Hulk always looked cute with that green figure. Just like the boyfriend said.......He's very proportionate just like a normal being but more pumped up that's all. Enjoyed the movie. Been some time since we last been to the movies. FYP and finals here and there.

By the way, the boyfriend was impersonating this version of Kungfu Panda. Spot-the-similarity??

Well, am really tired now. Had gastric and headache this evening. Gotta hit the sack now.

I've got something BIG coming up...Something that I've never thought of and never done before. Something......which I will not reveal now until I succeed in doing so.....I sooooo can't wait.

Seoul Garden

We went to Seoul Garden for dinner just now but didn't take alot of pics though....heeeee because we were all too busy eating and didn't bother to camwhore. Thanks to you cheeky pumpkin for holding baby 350D and not willing to share him with me HUH!!!!
I would say the food is pretty normal and it's not worthy of the price at all. Rm175 for 5 persons...Well, it may be cheap for most but to me....I compare the price with the food offered. The three of us were practically grabbing everything from the food counter and dumping them into the soup or for frying....So, we don't waste any cents alrite!!! hahahahaha.....
It isn't that fun because you're not around...Just hope you're feeling much better and really sorry I said those words. Heeeee....can't wait till our anniversary to make a mess in the kitchen together. We'll save up money and enjoy on much better food the next time round ya....Probably try out Shogun or that Japanese buffet restaurant at Bukit Bintang area....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

heeee....I'm feeling sick and had been sleeping since morning tsktsk...thanks to nature at sunburst. Something unexpected happened!!! Cheeky baby pumpkin bought me roses with this sweet message written on it. It does make my day baby!! Thanks alot...Next time just do something else alright?? I'm not those type of girls that can be bought with flowers especially roses because flowers will wilt and die....fake flowers are even worse...heeee fake love...but I appreciate it hunnie bun heee *spank spank*
